I recently partitioned my HD to try and dual boot Linux...I decided againest it because the OS I wanted to use didn't run properly. Now I have 2 extra hard-drive icons. I tried to remove them though bootcamp but I can't. Here are some pictures. I'd like to remove theses without harming my orginal OS X partition!!

I am not sure, but I think BootCamp checks the HD and if there are only two partitions it will join them. If there are more than two partitions, like in the OP's case, it will not work.

I would use my Linux or Windows install disk and go through the install process to the point of partitioning/formatting the HD. At that point, I would delete the two partitions, then create one partition. Exit the Linux/Windows install, then run BootCamp again to reclaim the space.
