Partition mac or download Windows first?

I'm going to partition my IMAC and download Windows XP. Which do I do first? Since I'm going to download Windows XP, I won't have a CD. Will that be a problem?

If it's a legitimate windows download you're probably supplied with a key and the downloaded version can be burned to a disc.

Then use the bootcamp tool in Mac OSX and follow the instructions.
it will be up and running within the hour
