Hello everybody.
I've been trying to partition my 2009 Macbook Pro so I can use bootcamp. I run OSX 10.5.8. Plenty of space left on my internal harddrive (113.33gb to be exact.)
When I try to partition the hard drive, it tells me to run disk utility.
When I attempt to verify the disk, it gives me an error.
"Invalid directory item count
(It should be 47 instead of 46)
Checking Extended Attributes file.
Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.
Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed."
I'm fairly savvy with simple things on computers, but I'm not exactly sure what I should try now. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, help would be appreciated!
