Hi world.

I'm use to play on steam on my window laptop. Unfortunately it's only 4 gb RAM and I3 old processor from 2014. The game is taking too much time + lag.

I would like to try play it on my 8Gb ram I5 air 2018. Boot camp in mind, but only 60go free left.

Will it be enough for win 10? and to install steam + beamNg drive?

Thanks for replies.

KR.

Micka.

You can't use the whole amount for bootcamp but should be OK if you allocate 32Gig or so.

Also try using a USB thumb drive. 64GB can be had for a reasonable price and at 3.0 speeds are OK for running windows.

Your best bet is to get a USB SSD and install Windows on that (there are guides around on how to do this). Windows uses too much space to install on anything less than 120GB. I once had Windows 10 on a PC with a 32GB SSD and it was so low on space, you couldm't even update it (that was without having any programs installed).

Hi.

Just finish installation, very very simple, Juste DL iso Win, launch bootcamp then patience until all is done.

Just DL steam.

Conexion….see beamNg, click on install….arrrrgh….need 12500 go place got 11900....

LOL. You were right. Not enought place.

When it was time to set partitions sizes, I had only 2 choices: 29 go for win or 37. Couldn't select other setting. Strange.

I Don't regret, I will try to find a solution on the next days . If not possible to play this game I will erase partition win and put mac OS alone again.

So after this day I tried to earn space to find the small space needed to install the game.

Unfortunately after uninstalling all applications I can, there was still some space missing.

=>boot camp again => erase window partition.

Back to MacOS only.

It was just a matter of space, no difficulties with boot camp for installation or deinstallation of win 10. Thanks for the replies, I know some other solutions exist but I will not invest in a external ssd for that.
