Partition Timemachine drive

hey guys is their anyway i can partition my 500gb mybook so that i can use 160gb for storage and 320gb for backup? or is their any alternative to this? thanks alot guys, its for my macbook stats are in my sig

I'm doing this right now. Under Leopard/applications/utilities/ is "disk utility" that will allow you to divide up your 500GB into any size partitions that you wish.
