It seems the hard drive on my iBook G4 is shot. For the present time, I would like to be able to boot from an external drive and run OSX off of it. Is there any way I can install OSX on my external hard drive which already has about 240GB on it, without partitioning it, or losing any data? I understand on INtel machines you can do this, but I don't believe PPCs can. Either that or some way to boot up from a USB drive? Any help would be great. Thanks.
