Hey I'm about to move my iTunes onto my laptop. I was wondering if there was a way to have the movies/TV show section be located on an external hard drive and the music on the laptop drive. Is this possible?

Yeah, it should be. Just copy the files to where you want, and delete your iTunes library [just the library, not the files.] Then, just drag them or add them to your [now empty] library and it will keep the file locations. The only thing I'm not sure of is how it will react if your external hard drive isn't plugged in.
