Passbook and NFC

I'm trying to lighten my wallet as much as possible. I've got 3 cards which use RFID (subway pass, store ID card and gym pass), is it possible for the iPhone 6 to scan these into passbook using NFC and likewise duplicate the functionality of the card?

Right now NFC is limited to :apple: Pay use only. It is possible that they will open up NFC to developers in the future (similar to their TouchID roll out).
