Passbook App question

Okay, so I just realized I can scan all my loyalty cards into Passbook. I'd like to do that. The problem is that I no longer have them since I scanned them all into the 3rd party app "CardStar" a couple years ago.

Is there a way to import them into Passbook from CardStar?

I don't know if you can just scan your loyalty cards in without an app. At least not that I'm aware of, I tried scanning a few and it didn't work. Unless I'm doing something wrong
