Passbook Battery Life

I live right by the Walgreens and it keeps popping up on my phone. THe only way I can fix this is disabling location services on Passbook, right?

Not to mention ANY time I unlock my phone I see the location services sign, does passbook always do that?

And does it really affect battery life?

You could also go into the Walgreens Passbook settings and turn off the "Show On Lock Screen" option, which would be specific to that Passbook app only.
