Last night, while my husband was using my Ipad, the battery ran down. He recharged it, but this morning I got an "Ipad is Disabled" message. Everything I've read so far says this is the result of entering a passcode incorrectly -- but we've never entered it incorrectly, and he wasn't even asked for a passcode last night. Has anyone else encountered this?

Many forums do not allow external links so rather than getting myself banned it think it is better that I put a code tag around them.

Just a thought, but have you considered maybe reading the FAQ / Rules info?

Link is near the top of the page, just scroll up.

Please don't post links as codes -- just post it as plain text, like this:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212

That way people can just click on the link instead of having to copy and paste.

Wow, what a couple of jerks. Don't you guys have anything better than to pick on someone for something so unimportant? The world isn't going to come to an end because the link wasn't listed as plain text (and therefore automatically generated as a link). And don't say that you were trying to be "helpful" because the semantics of your phrasing indicate otherwise.

No I dont feel better. Because like millions of apple issues... This one has also not been resolved... I now have a useless iPad that I can't do anything with... Spend loads of money just to have a device that doesnt work like it should. Great job apple...
