Passcode Lock - irregularities

While helping a few friends setup their newly purchased iphone 3Gs. I have noticed that their 'General->Passcode Locks->Require Passcode' settings has a maximum value of 'After 4 hours'. However, my iPhone has a maximum value of 'After 1 hour'. Looking at the firmware versions in the 'about' section shows that we are all running version 2.1 (5F136) but the difference is most certainly there.

What is the maximum value available in your settigns for 'General->Passcode Locks->Require Passcode'?

I'm the same: 2.1 (5F136) and I have '4 hours.'

But I seem to remember seeing the '4 hour' option all the way back to 2.0 when I got the phone. Dunno what's up with yours.

im the same 2.1 (5F136) but mine says after 4 hours...

After 4 hours here on iPhone 2.1 (5F136) and on the iPod Touch 2.1.1 (5F138).
