It's asking for a passcode and you don't know what it is? What exactly is showing... and where?

Hi,
It prompt the warning message during backup on iTunes and the message is something like "Passcode locked" and I cannot proceed with the backup due to this Passcode Locked error.

Yes, I did checked on General tab there is no passcode enable and I m dont sure why it keeps prompt this message? I also tried restore as new also facing the same issue.

So if there's no passcode enabled in the settings, the first thing I'd try to do is actually set one. Then remove it. Maybe something is stuck. Have you tried anything like this?

Also, do you do any type of VPN access with your iPad?

Yes, I did tried that before, set 1 and then disable it- same result.
No- i didnt use VPN.

Could it be this reason: mine ipad is 3G version and I didnt hv any simcard on it.
