Sitting in the living room last evening with my wife, she mentioned that her iPhone 5s, current iOS installed, was not asking for the passcode at the lock screen. I verified this and went into settings. All was still set correctly. After a restart, it was working again. Have never seen this before and seems like a bit of a security flaw.

Was TouchID being used? If not, what was the passcode setting set to (how long after locking was it set to kick in)?

It's set to lock immediately. She has touch id turned on, but doesn't use it. She doesn't go in and change settings either. A restart put it back to working like it has been, so it would seem to be a glitch that occurred.
