Password after Sleep set to 4 hours, but sometimes it's less

Sometimes I close the lid on my rMBP13 and it asks for a password within a couple of minutes if I reopen it, and yet System Prefs has it set to 4 hours after sleep. Any ideas what the problem might be? I'm not running FileVault either, which is the only situation I know of which might do this.

The only stuff I have on Login items is Clip Menu, PopClip and BetterTouchTool.

Same issue with 2011 Macbook Air... Although this is weird: If I hit cancel on the bottom, and then wake it up again... it doesn't require the password. If I wait the four hours, hitting cancel will not work, thankfully.

I don't have any of those programs, so either we have different issues that result in the same problem, or you can rule them out.
