Password Expired on new Device - Still works on all others

Hi

Just got a new iPhone4S as my work phone.
Went to activate it on the device but it said my password has expired.

However the existing password still works on my iPad, personal iPhone and iTunes. Why is a new device activation prompting this and how can I get around it without changing the password - this will be a huge pain in the ass
