I’m trying to figure out how to add “Username and Password” data into Password Keychain manually. I have several websites I use on a regular basis that I have to type in that info every time. OK, not the end of the world but I like the convenience of one or two clicks and your in. When I access these sites I never get the pop up screen asking if I want to keep info in Keychain. I figured out how to manually enter and store passwords in Keychain but when I go to those particular sites I still have to manually enter all the data.
I’m not sure if I’m missing a step somewhere or is it up to the site whether I can use Keychain or not?

UPDATE: One of the websites I was talking about, I just pulled up on my iPad Pro 3rdGen and the auto fill for login popped up, however it will not pop up on my phone. If I’m not mistaken the Passowrd Keychain is shared across all my devices that have same iCloud login. 🤔🤔

Try deleting all safari data & cookies in Settings/Safari.
Then quit safari and try again.
Autofill won't work automatically when using Private Mode browsing.

Some websites require you to tap in the login fields to bring up your saved log in info.

You could try deleting the keychain info for that website (but copy it somewhere first) and then visit the website and enter it again. Usually on the first visit after entering new login info, you'll be asked of you want to save it - tap yes.
Then try again

I figured out the problem. My mom used to say “if it was a snake it would have bit you!”
I went to settings on the phone and on my iPad. Passwords and accounts. Second line down is “AutoFill Passwords”. On iPad it was selected (green button) but not on my phone. Selected it on my phone and VOILA! Everything works as advertised. Just gotta be smarter than the equipment you’re working with. Thank you for sending me to settings again. All good again. 😀😀😀😀
