password protect emails and SMS?

i have alot of nosey kids around alot of the time and i don't want them going through my phone and reading private SMS or emails. at the same time i don't want to put a passcode lock on my phone, it's just too much to have to enter a passcode and slide the unlock thing every time i want to use my phone.

anyone else wish to see a password feature where it's possible to just apply the password for viewing emails and SMS?

some people want it, but i would rather have one passcode to access all, rather than having to type one each time i want to open sms, email etc
