OK, if HomePage is being canceled July 7, OK, I never used it for creating webpages anyway, I just created the HTML myself and uploaded it to my "Sites" folder in my iDisk; BUT I was always able to PASSWORD PROTECT an individual folder by visiting the HomePage site, and clicking "advance/add site/" then giving a folder a password, etc. All this with no special software, just through my browser (I'm still using OS 10.3.9).

But, OK, so now I need to put all my HTML webpages in a "Site" folder in the new "Web" folder (which is a huge drag, as all links to my sites will now be prefixed "web.me.com/[username] as opposed to "homepage.mac.com/[username], which screws up a LOT of business and personal stuff for me) -- but how do I PASSWORD PROTECT folders in MobileMe using just my browser?

I see no way to do this via a browser, unless I spend the money to buy "iWeb" and to upgrade my Panther OS X and learn a whole lot of new junk.

Does anyone know if it's possible to password protect a folder using just a browser, at me.com (like, say, somewhere in the area of http://www.me.com/idisk/), as it has been for years now via the web-based mac.com HomePage area (http://www.mac.com/WebObjects/HomePage.woa?aff=consumer&cty=EN&lang=en) ?

Please don't just tell me to "move on" and "get over it" -- it's all about money for me, everything is so costly ... and sometimes I have to do stuff online in motel lobbies on all different sorts of computers ...

All help appreciated!

Allan
