My uncle has an excel document that he as a password that he doesn't know and I was wondering if there is any software that is available for the Mac or PC to either remove the password or tell me it. I just tried Excel Password Remover from straxx.com but I can't get it to work. Is there anyone that can help on using this program or that has a better program to use? Thanks

Nope, you're out of luck. The passcode is used to jumble up the document, so even if you could gain access, it would be gibberish and unreadable. Were you able to contact Microsoft?

google for excel password cracker. there are different programs out there that will do a 'brute force' attack to unlock the file.
