Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions as i'm no mac expert but have an annoying issue with one of my user's machines. The user's name is Matt and has recently taken over from a former employee named Ben, they are using an iMac (OSX 10.9) connecting to a SBS2008 server.
Matt is getting an issue throughout the day to do with accessing mapped drives on the server. The main drive he uses that is causing the problem is the W drive.
When he first turns on his machine there is a keychain password pop up in the name of Ben (the old user). He has to change this and put in Matt and enter his password then straight after that he gets the error message Server not available this then continues throughout the day.
He believes this has been going on for ages more than 2 weeks but it is getting worse of late.
When It happens it seems to kick him off the share and then back on.
Chris and myself who work on a Windows PC in the same office and is a frequent W drive user has no issues like this at all. So its definatley a Mac to server issue. Any ideas you may have i would greatly appreciate.
Thanks,
Matt
