Hey guys having trouble with my new macbook. I got it off ebay. I am looking to do a clean install of os x. The only problem is that it asks for the password that the previous owner set on it.

Is there anyway to remove it or get around it?

Cheers

and to boot from a cd, in the event you're new to macs, you boot from the cd by holding down the c key during the boot process. so turn the macbook on, pop the cd in, at which point you'll likely have to restart since it's probably too late. this time when it turns on, hold down c and you'll go directly into the OS X installer.
