Password + verification code? How do I type it?

Hi,

I am reinstalling an old iMac 2007 here.. And I can remember that i have to type my iCloud password + the verification code, popping up at my iPhone.

But how shall it be punched in? <password>+code? or something @ ??

remember it was something like that.. Maybe code first ??
