Hi

Why after logging in on my, I phone periodically when I answer the phone or go to text messages the box pops up asking me to enter my password again to see my text messages or answer a call What is causing this?

From my experience, if you log into your phone using FaceID or Touch ID, you will still be randomly asked to manually enter your passcode for the device. The reason for that is using FaceID or Touch ID are assistive access tools and are not currently designed to replace the passcode access requirement of the phone.

It happens after logging in say Iam in a call and want to check a text it asks for password before I can read the text
