Passwords App Window Resizing

I use the new Passwords app often and am frustrated by the window size. When opening the app on my 13" MBA, the window defaults to roughly 6" wide by 4" tall. I then have to resize it, only to find it going back to the 6x4 next time if I close the window using the red button in the upper left. If I quit the app via the menu or Command-Q, then it will retain the larger size.

Any ideas how to fix this so the window retains the larger size? I've used the red close button habitually for years, so that's not likely to be a habit I will break.
