Whenever I paste something from Firefox to MS Word, the font becomes Lucinda Grande and size 13. Why does this happen? And how do I keep the formatting in the copy like it does on Windows? And if there is no text formatting, then how do I keep the default format in my Word document?

Thanks!

I don't know if this helps but..

After pasting in word, highlight the text and click on the drop box next to the font choice and click on "Clear Formatting" .

I don't want to have to do this. It works fine on Windows.

I guess it's just too hard to change the font and type size.

Wonder why you even bother to use a Mac if everything is sooo fine in Windows...

When you paste formatted (or unformatted, for that matter) text into Word just use the advanced Paste Special... instead of regular Paste. Then you can choose to do whatever you want with the text you are pasting.

This is a MS Office problem, not an OS X problem.
Case in point? Paste the same data into TextEdit.app. It comes out properly.

Take it up with Microsoft as to why this happens on Office for OS X.
