Pasting into the Create A New Source Menu in WORD?

Hi,
I am using the latest version of Microsft Word for Mac and for some reason I can't copy and then paste anything into the "Create a new source" in the citations menu. For example if I am citing a website and copy the websites URL it won't allow me to paste it into the "Create a new source". When I right click in a box to paste nothing happens. I can paste the information anywhere else in word just not in the citation menus?
