I was in San Antonio at the NorthStar Mall and was offered the $2799 rMBP yesterday. I had to repel the spell because I wanted the upgraded model 16 gb and 2.7 ghz. I do enjoy everyone's review but it's not an apples to apples test for me. Anything will be an improvement to my 2008 MBP. Keep the reviews coming,
