I sold my 15" MBPr and am patiently waiting for the prices on the 13" MBPr to drop.

With the new models right around the corner, I'm surprised prices really haven't dropped that much yet.

Anyone else waiting to jump on a nice 2014/2015 model?

And they won't drop that much ever apples products hold their price it's that simple, you may get an extra 10% here or there when the new ones come out but nothing before then I wouldn't imagine.

What type of deal are you looking to get? Best Buy has frequently had the 13" on sale brand new for $1,099.

Only place you will see decent discount on Apple products is Stateside, the rest of us are firmly stuck with Apple`s rather humorous pricing. Right now I would be looking at around $2800 for a 15" rMBP, "I don't think so" picking a Mac up tax free is the still best option for many seeking any price drop.

You should have bought when best buy was doing the sale a couple weeks ago and purchased a 10% off movers coupon from ebay (they have now all expired). Stacked savings would have been great.

You won't really see any drops until the new ones are out. At this point it's still speculation that new ones will come at WWDC. So you will be waiting until sometime in June.

Bestbuy was having a sale back in January when I bought mine along with a student coupon for $50 off. They all were like $150 off. Other then basically $200 off the Macbook (2015) edition that's the best I've seen.
