I've never heard of it either
Paul Thurrott, the owner, is one of the biggest names in Windows blogging. He gets loads of inside info straight from Microsoft. He's got his own TWiT network podcast called Windows Weekly.

By the way, it works fine for me. Doesn't mean much though since I've had issues every once in a while accessing the largest sites (amazon, google).

Guess that explains it since I don't try to keep up with Windows too much
I endure using it at work, but that's as much exposure as I want

Thanks for explaining ... as I said, not missing anything.

That's OK, I'd say that 50% of his "This Week in Windows" podcast is Apple related anyhow. ;)

Paul mentioned that a week or two ago, he switched his blog over to a CMS. Before that, it was 100% hand-coded. Ewwwwww. So I'd expect him to have some issues with his site for a while (after switching over to a technology from the early 2000s). :D
