Everytime I send an sms from my iPhone 3G (O2-UK) I get a popup telling me how much credit I have with a dismiss button. It's slightly handy knowing my credit, but after every sms it gets a bit annoying, especially when having a conversation by sms.

Is there a way to disable this?

I've the same problem and that thing is really annoying. Any ideas how to get rid of that?

Interesting that they're being helpful in this fashion when the SMS app doesn't even state if you've gone over 160 chars!

OK, will do that. But then, do I've to pay for that crap, I mean calling customer service. I don't like O2, feel like they r trying to rip me off by hook or by crook but will get my cash. Once I used all my credit and they kept on sending me msg "that I've to top up to 17p to enable online services" every few minutes, even in the middle of the night. The only reason why I decide to go for pay as you go was to avoid hassle but c is the other way round
