I've found some interesting magazines from the newsstand and zinio app that I would like to subscribe to, I was just wondering if I could pay for the magazine subscriptions using the balance on my iTunes gift card or can I only pay it with a credit card?

Pay for magazine subscription with iTunes cards?

I know this is old but I was looking around and thought someone else might like the answer, assuming the OP already found it. When you input an iTunes gift card it's credit on your iTunes account and any money spent within the iTunes store would go against the balance. If you buy the subscription from the publication's website however, it isn't the case.
Before you do that, check your library. My library lets me down load any magazine I want for nothing and so far they have all that I want.
