i wonder if there is a 14 day return policy as with a computer
you could try that or you could call apple and see what they say
however, 10 bucks isnt the worst thing in the world if it came down to it
So, it's not like with Leopard, where people got it free within 30 days (was it 30 days)? If so, that's just ridiculous.![]()

Oh yeah, but still, I'd rather not have to pay, naturally.I'll probably give them a ring if I have to.

apple likes taking money, of course you have to pay.

What's ridiculous is buying an iPod days before a very highly documented software update. You deserve to get stung for $10.
YYES!!!!
14 days or less and we get it free!!
Okay, but what's the protocol? Does iTunes automatically know? Do we need to call Apple to get a code? Anything like that?
PS Thanks for calling to ask, man.
Actaully they gave me an itunes code but then again im in Canada, and she just happend to know exactly when i bought my ipod as soon as i gave her S/N so now ive got a itunes 9.99 credit~!!!!![]()
Impressive.... Steve must have taken his happy pill the day he made that decision.... Great News (if not mildly surprising) Tho, thinking about it ... I think I remember occasions where a 14 day grace period was enacted... Still cool news for some...
I guess they only thing we have to look forward to now are all those people who purchased **THEIR** iPod 15 16 17 ... days ago...
