not neccsarily, have a look at these price differences of the same phone in vodafone UK and Vodafone IT

EDIT: It also may be due to the VAT/tax differences!!!

i think it will be around these price points, but i would prefer them to be a bit cheaper as i dont think i will be able to afford the 16gb one if its that much. and remember a 16gb touch is £269 (i think), so it maybe around £325-350 .
