PAYG sim for iPad in the USA for my holiday?

I am going to the USA next week and I want to buy a PAYG micro-sim for my iPad as I don't want to pay the excessive data roaming charges of my UK account. Can you let me know what is the best package to go for? I will be in NYC and Vegas.

AT&T is your only option for using 3G with the iPad. Good luck getting a PAYG micro-SIM out of them. Most of the front line CSRs are not going to know what you are talking about.
