Paying for Apple goods

Hi all! I couldn't find anywhere specific for this but I'm just so curious to find out from you all how you budget/save up for Apple products (especially the die hard fans).

I bought the MacBook Air 2020 on Apple Finance and I save quite a lot of money as I work full time, live at home and don't have any outgoing other than my mobile phone bill and paying for petrol £100 per month.

My next purchase will be the Magic Keyboard which I'll pay outright for (using my student discount hopefully) and I'm selling my iPad Pro (2017) to buy a refurbished iPad Pro 2018 and will again make up the difference from my own pocket!

Kidding.

I like to clean house and sell old gear and whatever else I don't really need on eBay and Craigslist. The proceeds become my savings for the stuff I want.

Biggest purchase so far: I used eBay proceeds to put down the $1000 for my Tesla Model 3.
