PayPal is offering 10% off iTunes e-gift cards until December 30 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Available denominations include a $25 iTunes e-gift card for $22.50, $50 iTunes e-gift card for $45, and a $100 iTunes e-gift card for $90. The gift cards are not physical but instead delivered electronically via email.

iTunes gift cards can be used to purchase apps, games, music, movies, TV shows, books, and more on the App Store, iTunes Store, the iBooks Store, and the Mac App Store. The credit can also be used towards an Apple Music subscription. The gift cards can be used on iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV, Mac, or PC.

Here's the fine print summarized: Valid U.S. PayPal and iTunes accounts are required. The deal is valid only on purchases made in the United States from the U.S. iTunes Store. The offer is valid while supplies last. Limited quantity is available. Electronic delivery only. No returns or refunds are accepted.

While iTunes gift cards can occasionally be found for 15% off, this is one of the best deals currently available.

Not bad savings for someone wanting to get some iTunes content for a new toy. I just wait until Sam's Club or Costco do their 15% off sales which is usually multiple times throughout the year.

I used to snatch these up. Apple's sort of dropped the ball on online services. I now do Netflix and Spotify and love them both.

Thank you for making me think about this!

I'd forgotten that my reason for not joining and paying Netflix through iTunes (the way I do for HBO) was because I had a grandfathered plan. That's gone, so I need to cancel and re-join.

From Netflix Help Center:

To sign up for Netflix with iTunes billing, download the Netflix app on your Apple TV or iOS device, select “Join Free for a Month,” and follow the prompts to set up your account.

To rejoin Netflix with iTunes billing, open or download the Netflix app on your Apple TV or iOS device.

  • If you have had service with Netflix within the last ten months, select Sign in and follow the prompts to restart your membership.
  • If you have not had service with Netflix within the last ten months, select “Join Free for a Month” and follow the prompts to restart your membership.

Good pick up if you cannot commit to purchasing a large value card. I believe there was a deal for $85 for a $100 card a few days ago.

Still good if you just want a small value.

Paypal is offering a even better deal (15% off $50 card = $42.50 ) on eBay right now.

PS: valid only for US iTunes store purchases. ;)

I'm getting this problem when I click to buy it:

Somebody can help me!?

Some Sydney supermarkets provide a generous 20% discount throughout the year, multiple times. Too bad I need to pay $100 full for my VPN service while traveling to china. I thought supermarkets would provide discount before Christmas.

Just bought a $50 gift card, was charged the full $50 for it. Don't know if the special is over, or there was a glitch somewhere. I will deal with it tomorrow.

Target had the 15% off deal a few weeks ago, and does it every few months. Why is PayPal singled out?

Target is actually 20% off when used in conjunction with their free RedCard.
