Hi, I don't have a PayPal account but sometimes when I purchased by Visa card at online stores, I see options like: Paypal (create an account), PayPal as a visitor, something like that. What does that mean? Does PayPal has my credit card info if I pay Credit Card via PayPal as a visitor?

Also, one online store accepts only PayPal and Credit Card Payment (Worldpay). There is no option for Visa or MasterCard. Haven't heard of Worldpay. Which is safer and recommended?

Worldpay is an international payment processor not a credit card issuing bank nor payment network (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, etc.).

PayPal is a long standing online payment service. They basically function as a proxy for whatever accounts you choose to register with their service (credit cards, checking accounts, etc.). It'll suffice to say that the FAQ on their website will describe their services, Terms & Conditions, etc. far more authoritatively than anything anyone here can post.

Note that what they can offer varies by country since the consumer banking industry is heavily regulated. Comments from MR Q&A forum participants may be completely incorrect because of ignorance of the complexities of international consumer finance practices.

Don't ask us about PayPal details. Go to PayPal and read what they have to say. After all, if you sign up for their service, you are bound to the customer agreement that they provide.

Thanks. I chose Paypal but they played with the exchange rate. It was 1 cad to 0.75 US. They charged me at 1 cad to 0.7 US.
