Hi,
I recently made a purchase with a secure card linked to my paypal account. Everything seemed to be processing just fine until I just now notice that I was charged about $200 twice and had the amount removed from the account both times. One of the transactions is still marked as pending while the one marked as "completed" is more recent and is the one that caused the negative balance. I'm wondering if this is a normal thing and if the "pending" charge will be removed soon. I've already contacted paypal but this has got me a bit worried... The payment was to a reputable seller so I'm not at all concerned about that.

Thanks

with paypal it takes about 7 days for the charge to vanish. if the card does not work when scanned it may still ding your card but the charge will go away. this is not just paypal but most any debit or credit card account. so anymore of you don't have a lot of money in your account be careful and check if a card does not work the first time.
