Paypal, why is this so complicated?!

I figure the folks around here are pretty saavy so I might as well ask!


Basically, I wanna buy something off ebay and the auction ends in a few hours so I need an answer before Paypal can write me back.


I have my account, the bank account is being verified. I added a credit card. But if I go to add funds or whatever, it tells me a verified account is needed.

If I buy something from ebay and win, can I just pay with my credit card via Paypal? I was under the impression you add funds into your paypal wallet via bank account/credit card/whatever.


I'm a little confused and don't wanna screw up and have some angry seller on my butt about owing him the money.

You can use Paypal both ways. Paypal, if you use a bank account, ask you to submit test funds, usually less than a a dollar. The credit card version doesn't need that. I have used both versions, but prefer the card one more.
