Pb 2 working great for me after initial hiccups..apprehensive about updating

Initially on my iPhone 6 plus , PB 2 was laggy and there were lot of stutters and I had to reduce motion and increase contrast to keep it usable. For the last 24 hours its been working well with animations on and reduce contrast turned off and everything has been fluid. Not sure why it took a week for things to settle as I haven't really updated all my third party apps yet except swiftkey. Now that Pb 3 is out - what is the experience of people on an iPhone 6 plus . Is it worth updating or should I hold out on pb2 for longer

Updating on my 6s right now. PB 2 was pretty smooth though and I think battery life improved from 1. Not entirely sure if it was because I moved from 6 to 6s or PB 1 to PB 2.
