PB airport antenna broken

I dropped my 12"PB and the shock slipped the airport card out of it's socket.
In the process of troubleshooting I managed to pull the antenna wire out of it's plug. I shoved it back in but now my rather marginal wifi reception is now even more marginal.

Are there any upgrades? Or is it just an apple service replacement issue?

it sounds like the antenae is not in all the way. make sure you align it correctly. that is usually the problem when you get really poor reception after takeing out the airport card. good luck becareful that the antenna is plugged in correctly.
