I got a used PowerBook Duo 230 for my birthday, but it has a few quirks.

First, the keyboard either never works, or a key sticks, and I am forced to do a hard reboot to get it to stop. Is something loose, or do I need to find a new (used) keyboard?

Next, sometimes the front power button works, sometimes it doesn't. If not, I need to use the main power button on the back. Both buttons are very touchy. Once again, can I fix it or shall I live with it?

Third, the screen supports up to 4 bit (16) greys. However, if I have it set to anything higher than monochrome, the screen has some ghosting issues, and it eventually begins to dance. I can live with just monochrome, but if I could fix it, it would be nice...

Finally, it has a speaker and a mic, but SimpleText can't speak text. Yeah, I know it's stupid, but it's something I can show my PC using friends.

If it helps, it's running System 7.1, with 4 MB of RAM, I think. It has the 120 MB hard drive. Any help would be nice, as I bet a friend that I could turn it into a daily-use machine for school, as all I need to do is type and go online.

Also, can anyone reccomend a good case?
