My 15" G4 Powerbook was having problems -- freezing, not starting up fully (at least as long as my patience lasted) and running slow -- so I started up from the TechTool Deluxe disk and opted for every available test & repair. The last one checked/repaired 2 mil + files. This took overnight plus. When it was finished, I ejected the disk and restarted the computer. That's when I got the flashing folder/question mark (for the first time). I tried resetting pram (apple+alt+p+r - 2 or 3 dings) but it is unchanged (still flashing question mark).

What should my next steps be? (The machine is over warranty. I could really use some do-it-yourself options. These can include digging into the hardware.)
