The other night I was playing a cd in my PB G4 12" dvd drive, and I left the cd in the computer overnight. When I woke up in the morning and went to take the cd out, it wouldn't come out. My school's IT told me that part of the casing of the PB had come detached and was bent down in front of the drive. However, at no point have I dropped the computer or dropped anything on it. The whole side of the computer isn't bent, and it seems part of the metal just came loose. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I sent it into Apple and got a one time exception since I have eclipsed my warrantee coverage time. Is it possible that Apple will not fix it and charge me for the repair? If so, how much will something like that cost?

Thanks for your help.
