i just used my powerbook a few hours ago to play a dvd. i ejected normally and everything, and now i go to play another dvd and DVD Player opens up and says "Supported Disc Not Availible" in the viewing area. The disc also doesn't show up on my desktop either. I've tried 4 different dvds, all do the same thing. I tried a regular data cd and it loaded up fine. any ideas what happened?!

interesting, i just opened up disk utility to run repair permissions and it shows the dvd fine in there, but not in Finder.

i'm on a 17" PB thats only like 3 months old if that helps at all.

** - it just started working again.. what the heck?!?! what would of caused that
