Hey guys/girls, i'm a new mac owner. Just got my 15" pb through apple online. I just have a small concern. I noticed when i use my touchpad button to click on something it makes a cracking sound. Is that normal? It sounds somewhat like a plastic button creeking everything i click on the button. What should I do?

Does it feel like there is space between the trackpad and the chasis? I've had this experience before with my Pismo PowerBook. It wasn't a big deal for me, but if the PowerBook is stock (i.e. 80GB HD/64Meg Video), they might do a straight exchange at an Apple Store.

yup that is exactly the condition you described. There is a small space between them. Unfortunately i have 128vram pb. Can apple do anything about it?
