I have the new Airport Extreme connected with my MacBook. My wife has received a used Dell laptop. It receives a strong signal from the base station.
We can't get the pc laptop connected to the network using the WPA2 security
setting. It will connect if I have no security setting. A pop up window appears asking for a wep key. Did I miss a procedure during the initial
set up? Thanks for any help.

My suggestion would be to open the AirPort Admin Utility on your Mac and check the menu item 'Wireless equivalent password' or key or whatever they want to call it and copy that exactly as the password on the Dell.

You mentioned it was a used Dell. How old is it? Might be possible for it not to support WPA..only WEP. Maybe dell offers an update if this is the case.
