so whats guys! The PC in our living room just died..and i can choose a new computer=D i am thinking about the imac 21.5 inch ..3,06 dual core 4 GB RAM thats 1099 euro..

but if you take a look @ PC..you can get core i3/ i5 for just 500 / 600 euro! with 4 / 6 GB RAM

sooo can anybody give me some advice? haha:D

I3 etc are great but what ive found is anti virus and other apps slow down windows to an extent. OS X is more integrated with the hardware. I would get the base iMac odds are it will handle typical needs for a least 3-4 years.

What is your usage? Any gaming? Or just basic stuff like web browsing, iTunes, photos, MSN etc?

Macs are IMO so easy because they have everything you need when you open the box and look nice but there are great and very light anti-virus softs for PC which are free.

Depends on your usage and budget. I assume you already have a monitor so how about Mac Mini?
