I was browsin the net and all of a sudden I get this very "internet explorer" type error message. thing is, i am using safari. :confused:

What website were you trying to access?
 
That looks to be a 404 error message. The link you clicked is broken, but the server is good. The only difference is that IE doesn't differentiate between many different Page Not Found errors (including you not being connected to the internet :eek: ).
 
It's becuase the server that g4techtv.com uses has set up it's "file not found" page to look like internet explorer's. It's not Safari, it's the site.

They are running MS IIS web server, this is a standrad IIS error page, nothing to get excited about :rolleyes: you could be running a browser on any platform of any kind and still get the same messege.
